Founded in 1999, it was the band of APEDGF - Portuguese Association for the Study and Dissemination of the Bagpipe.

Instruments built in the Association's Workshop were used in the band. Its main objective was the promotion of Portuguese music and bagpipes, but also many harmonica songs from the countries where this instrument is present, in its various variants.
